'BLOOMING ASH'

LIUYANJUN CAPSULE COLLECTION 2

'BLOOMING' meaning flowering, representing birth and vitality.

'ASH' is dust, symbolizing death and annihilation.

LIUYANJUN LIKES TO MIX OPPOSING THINGS TOGETHER TO CREATE AN AESTHETIC SYSTEM THAT CLASH AND CLOUD.

THIS SERIES IS A FUSION OF NEW BIRTH AND DEATH, NEW LIFE AND DEATH EXIST AT THE SAME TIME, AND THE WORLD OF LIUYANJUN IS ALL-ENCOMPASSING.

BLOOMING ASH is like brilliant fireworks blooming in the sky, leaving only ashes after a gorgeous bloom and returning to the infinite darkness after a great light.

Since we will eventually return to ashes, do we have to bloom brilliantly? Do things become valueless after losing their light and vitality?

This collection continues the concept of "fire", a spreading spark that leaves random and irregular traces wherever it passes,

just like the irregular hemline of garments in this collection, which even features garments burnt by fire.

However, the ashes left by the fire provoked the designer to think even more. This collection is inspired by the Ash series of photographs by New York artist Charles Griffin.

It was created with bone ashes donated by others. The ash blooms in the sky and turns into some sort of "physical" form in the camera.

In the main collection, the prints are ashes blooming in another dimension created by the designer, where there are withered flowers, waves and burnt ashes,

filled with various opposing elements that exist separately and merge with each other. It seems to be real but hazy, and is hard to explain,

with a sense of ambiguity without borders and frames. The splicing of a large number of prints and black fabrics in this collection is a collision of endless silence and infinite fusion.

Just like LIUYANJUN girls, they are unshackled, whimsical and infinitely tolerant.
